Introducing the Henley Room &the Walrus Club
If you’re searching for small function and party venues in Brisbane, you may be interested in our most intimate cocktail rooms, the Henley Room and the Walrus Club. Known for its wine cellar and fine dining menus, the Henley Room is a wonderful place to hold cocktail get-togethers. With a maximum capacity of 22, it provides a warm and intimate setting for your guests.
If you want to blow those in attendance away with one of the most unique cocktail function venues in Brisbane, then the Walrus Club is definitely for you. Stepping into this function room feels like you are stepping back in time to the 1920’s. Adorned with Gatsby themed interiors which provide an exclusive ambience, the Walrus Club with its cosy chairs, tall tables, candlelight, and exclusive cocktails and spirits will surely create a memorable night.
Small Function Venues
The Gazzard Room
The Gazzard Room is another of our intimate cocktail venues that’s perfect for small groups. With a suspended plasma screen and ceiling-mounted projector, it provides you and your guests with a relaxing cocktail hotspot. Accommodating up to 30 people, you will enjoy access to a private verandah and, of course, the Verandah Bar with its great views.
The Thornton Room
Our larger cocktail rooms include the Thornton Room which accommodates 40 people and offers breathtaking views of the Brisbane River from the private verandah, and the significantly larger Winterford Room, which is capable of accommodating up to 80 persons. Adorned with a black marble bar and audio-visual facilities, the Winterford Room is perfect for enjoying the company of friends, colleagues, or clients, while having a drink and listening to some tunes.
The Gailey Room
If the Gazzard Room or Thornton Room aren’t enough to house all your guests, the Gailey Room may be opened as an extension for an additional 10 people or more. It has the added bonus of access to a private verandah where you and your guests can relax in the fresh air while sipping on your favourite cocktail.
